How it works

From your Steam library to playing, in three steps

  1. 1

Create a BridgeGame account, then sign in to Steam once. Your purchases stay in your Steam account.

  2. 2

BridgeGame sets up the engine and Steam

It installs the Windows engine, the graphics layer and Steam, then checks they work on your Mac. Nothing to configure.

  3. 3

    Press Play

Each game starts with its tested recipe. If something breaks, you get a button that fixes it, not an error code.

What you get

Everything a game needs, set up for you

A tested recipe for every game

The renderer, Wine settings, Windows components and a preset for each kind of Apple chip — the combination we know works. Recipes update without an app release.

BridgeGame runs the real Steam client, so your purchases stay where they are.

Why BridgeGame

The setup is the hard part. We did it already.

Doing it by hand

  • Install a Wine build and hope it matches the game
  • Pick a renderer, then flip DLL overrides until it draws
  • Find the forum thread with the right launch options
  • Redo it all after the next game update

With BridgeGame

  • Sign in and press Play
  • The recipe picks renderer, Wine settings and chip preset
  • Fix buttons instead of error codes
  • Recipes update without a new app

Honest about what runs

Requirements

What you need

  • An Apple Silicon Mac

M1 or later, including Pro, Max and Ultra. Intel Macs aren't supported.

  • macOS 14 Sonoma or newer

Older versions lack the Metal features the graphics layers need.

  • Your Steam account and games

BridgeGame runs the real Steam client. You buy and own your games as usual.

Games with anti-cheat that blocks Wine are listed as Not supported. Apple's D3DMetal is downloaded from Apple under Apple's license; BridgeGame doesn't ship it.

BridgeGame Pro is $1.00 a month.

Try it free with two games. Upgrade for every tested game, automatic tuning and priority fixes. Cancel any time.
