What BridgeGame is

BridgeGame installs and configures a Windows compatibility engine, graphics translation layers and the Steam client on Apple Silicon Macs, then launches your games with a recipe we have tested. It does not include, sell or distribute any games.

Who we are not

BridgeGame is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Valve, Steam, Microsoft or Apple. Game names, logos and artwork shown in the app and on this site belong to their owners and are shown only to identify the games.

Your games and your Steam account

• You need your own Steam account and your own legally purchased copies of the games you play.
• Your use of Steam and of each game stays subject to the terms of Valve and of the game's publisher.
• Don't use BridgeGame to get around anti-cheat, copy protection or a publisher's rules.

Apple's software

DirectX 12 games use Apple's D3DMetal, part of Apple's Game Porting Toolkit. BridgeGame does not include or distribute it. You download it from Apple yourself, under Apple's license, and BridgeGame installs it from that download on your Mac.

Open-source components

The engine is built on Wine-based software and DXMT, which are open source and keep their own licenses. Those licenses apply to those components, and nothing in these terms limits them.

Compatibility

We publish a status for every game we support: Runs great, Experimental or Not supported. A status reflects our tests at the time and can change with game, macOS or Steam updates. We can't promise that every game runs on every Mac, and games whose anti-cheat blocks Wine are not supported.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; you're responsible for what happens under your account. You can ask us to delete your account at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

BridgeGame Pro

• BridgeGame Pro costs $1.00 a month (USD; taxes may apply) and renews monthly until you cancel.
• You can cancel any time. Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
• Refunds follow the refund policy, which we finalize with our payment provider before payments open.

No warranty

BridgeGame is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for lost data, lost progress or indirect damages. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live.

Changes

If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll update this page and tell account holders by email before the change takes effect.
